Black birch is a species of birch tree that grows plentifully in the Allegheny forests that surround CJ Spirits’ distillery. The process of creating this spirit is similar to creating a gin- the spirit is infused with the flavors of the birch during distillation. There is nothing quite like this and we are excited to have them introduce us to it during the grand tasting at the PA Spirits Convention.
